dChallenge

dChallenge is a decentralized application that allows users to create and participate in challenges. You can bet that you will achive a certain goal and others have to confirm it for you to get your stake back.

When setting a goal you are often times really motivated in the beginning, but slowly lose your motivation as time passes. To avoid that from happening, you can put up some amount of coins which you will only get back if you actually achieve the goal. You have to add at least one person (called "validator") who will be able to confirm that you have completed the challenge successfully. For example you can add some friends of you who will check if you actually did what you set out to do. They can also throw in some coins to motivate you even more. If you fail to achieve your goal, the staked amount will be sent to the recipient you chose in the beginning, for example a charity.
